Help Us Fill Our Shelves During These
Challenging Times
With the Stock the Shelves March and April distribution events canceled, the refugees we serve in the Chicago community now need the household and hygiene supplies we provide more than ever. The amazing Meghan McCarthy Mills and her family recently gathered at our storage facility to package more than 75 bags of the supplies that refugees need most.
We are now requesting your help in two ways:
1 - We are seeking volunteers who can deliver those bags to refugees in Chicago. If interested, please email Tiffany Flannagan at tiffanyflannagan@gmail.com
2 - We also are requesting donations of bar soap, laundry detergent, household cleaner, toilet paper, and toothpaste.
Please order online at retailers with inventory and ship to First Presbyterian Church of Wilmette, 600 9th Street, Wilmette, IL 60091. Items can also be dropped off in the designated bins located at the church’s back door. Your generous donations of these specific items are much appreciated during this difficult time for so many.
