Stock the Shelves Delivering New Ways to Help Refugees

Updated: Apr 24, 2020

Update and Details on New Approach Discussed

in Zoom Call

With the unprecedented challenges to the way we live, learn and work, Stock the Shelves is continuing to deliver household and hygiene supplies to our refugee community in new ways. In April, Stock the Shelves hosted a Zoom video call for volunteers, donors, and friends of Stock the Shelves. It was an update on Stock the Shelves' work to date and how, with your help, we can advance this important work to benefit Chicago's most vulnerable communities. The conversation was led by Reverend Erin Raska of First Presbyterian Church of Wilmette, Rabbi Carlie Daniels of Congregation Sukkat Shalom, and Reverend Jason Okrzynski of First Congregational Church of Wilmette. During the pandemic our focus is encouraging monetary donations to provide gift cards to refugees so they can purchase the household and hygiene items they need most.
